Wall Cavity Injection

Warm Home Insulation is proud to offer airKrete and WallBar wall injection insulation systems.

Cavity wall insulation insulation involves the mechanical injection of a suitable insulant into the cavity, using a specified system such as non-invasive infared cameras and similar tools designed to ensure a complete fill.

A staggering 35% of domestic energy is wasted from uninsulated cavity walls which means that we are consuming energy far in excess of our needs. Injecting insulation into wall cavities is one the most effective energy efficiency measures in the home.

Using specialized equipment our fully licensed and certified installers can insulate your walls making your home much more comfortable to live in.

Whether your motivations are saving the planet or saving your wallet, there are many advantages to insuring your walls have enough insulation.

airKrete

airKrete is an injectable foam that is made from ceramic talc and magnesium oxide, which is derived from common seawater. It is non-hazardous, non-toxic. The formulation is free of CFC's formaldehyde, and other toxic chemicals. Along with its fireproofing qualities, airKrete is one of the safest foamed in place insulation products on the market today.

airKrete can be used to re-insulate walls that have been previously insulated with fiberglass batts, to increase R-Value and provide air sealing at the same time.

airKrete, at R 3.9 per inch, cures in the wall cavity in approximately 24 hours, once it dries it is completely inert and will not expand, shrink, or settle, leaving your walls well insulated and draft proof.

Along with airKrete's resistance to mould and mildew, not to mention it's ability to resist insects and other pests, airKrete is a smart choice for healthier living.

WallBar

WallBar is a loose-fill type of cellulose insulation that is dense packed when installed; it is made from organic recycled paper fibers. It is enhanced with borate additives that offer great mould, wood decay, insect, corrosion, and combustion resistance.

WallBar's thermal and acoustical properties are derived through a specialized fiberization process and is treated with an internal adhesive, which with the natural movement of moisture in and out of the wall cavity, forms a cohesive batt of insulation eliminating settlement.

WallBar has earned Enviroment Canada's "Ecologo" and is recognized as a enviromentally friendly "Green" product, and at a R-Value of 3.8 per inch, Weathershield's WallBar is a good choice when deciding to insulate empty cavities.
